Journalist centre of underage sex probe

A PROMINENT journalist has been placed under investigation for having sexual contact with an underage girl after his own daughter discovered a picture of a naked girl on his mobile phone.

The journalist’s teenage daughter brought the phone to her mother who went to her local garda station and handed over the phone.

The journalist, who works for a national newspaper, signed himself into a psychiatric hospital and has been under “suicide watch” since then.
