Jury deliberates in slurry pit murder trial

THE jury in the trial of a woman accused of murdering a man nicknamed Gold-tooth whose body was found weeks later in a slurry pit at the back of a farmhouse will continue their deliberations today.

Una Geaney, 45, of Mullinagleamig, Dingle, Co Kerry, and originally from Fermoy, Co Cork, pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork to a charge of murdering Gary Bull, 37, at Shanlaragh, Dunmanway, Co Cork, on September 23, 2007.

Yesterday was the fifth day of the trial and the prosecution closed its case.
