IS it Enda, or is it Victor?

It was a case of mistaken identity for the country’s new Taoiseach at his first EU summit when the photograph of Alias actor Victor Garber appeared on the brochure for journalists over Mr Kenny’s name.

The Canadian actor, who played a Belfast shipbuilder in the film Titanic, bears a remarkable resemblance to Mr Kenny.

They are so alike that last June RTÉ used a photograph of Mr Garber in an opinion poll.

The latest question mark over the Taoiseach’s identity comes just days after he was referred to as “she” in the New York Times — which the newspaper retracted and apologised about later.
