Labour unveils Seanad candidates

SEANAD election candidates were unveiled by Labour last night.

Cork north central councillor John Gilroy will contest the cultural and educational panel, with Donegal councillor Jimmy Harte put forward for the industrial and commercial panel. The party’s administrative panel candidate is John Kelly of Roscommon/South Leitrim

Limerick councillor James Heffernan will compete in the agricultural panel with Susan O’Keeffe of Sligo/North Leitrim. Kerry South councillor Marie Moloney is seeking a place from the labour panel, along with John Whelan, of Laois/Offaly.
