Sweet news as old favourites return to shelves

FRUIT Salads, Rancheros, Macaroon bars and Black Jacks — candy can stir up some of our fondest memories from childhood.

But now sweet-toothed nostalgics can tuck into all their old favourites once again with the launch of Lidl’s Retro Week.

From Monday shoppers at the discount chain will be able to reminisce about “the good old days” by indulging in treats from the past including Caffrey’s Snowballs, Klipso bars and Country Spring Lemonade.
