Couple’s repossessed home ransacked

A HEARTBROKEN couple whose bungalow was recently repossessed have described the horror of discovering their former home was ransacked and gutted.

Patricia and John Burnett packed their belongings and moved out of their three-bedroom Tipperary house in December after the High Court allowed GE Capital Woodchester take possession of their home.

On returning to collect post, Ms Burnett found the property — the couple’s home for 10 years — completely stripped by thieves.
