Alzheimer’s awareness

The charity is leading a campaign to encourage its members and supporters to ask every candidate in the general election on how they intend tackling the issue of dementia and to sign up and support making dementia a national health priority at www.alzheimer.ie.

The society saw a 33% increase in its waiting lists last year, regularly sees families struggling with a lack of information.
