FIANNA Fáil have vowed to continue reforming the health system and warned voters that opposition party plans to dismantle the HSE could lead to a decade of upheaval for patients.

Party leader Micheál Martin yesterday admitted his party’s plans involved no new spending commitments for health services but rejected suggestions his proposals were only “more of the same” of those from the last government.

Primary care, a two-tiered health system, and a reduction in the duplication of services are among the party’s goals.
