Eircom to hike prices by average of 3.1%

EIRCOM has announced a price hike that will see recession-weary customers face bill increases of an average of 3.1% next month on base rates and out-of-package calls.

The company said it is planning to extend daytime hours as part of the changes which will come into effect on March 11.

Daytime hours will change from 8am-6pm to 7am–7pm including bank holidays, except for existing customers who are already on an off-peak call plan.
