Fás still using training firms that manipulated results

TWO companies where the results of courses they ran for Fás were manipulated are still providing services for the training agency.

Senior Fás executives told TDs and senators that the cases in relation to the companies were assessed independently by the Fás/Enterprise Ireland National Register of Trainers (NRT).

They were referred to the NRT after results of some students were found by a Fás investigation last autumn to have been “intentionally manipulated”.
