Private hospital creates 100 jobs

THE country’s newest private hospital will create up to 100 medical jobs within weeks.

The Cork Medical Centre (CMC), which opened in Mahon last October, announced it will hold a walk-in recruitment day at its facility in Mahon this weekend to fill a wide range of clinical positions in nursing, theatre, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy.

CMC managers will be at the hospital from 12 noon to 3pm on Saturday to meet candidates and to take them on a tour of the state-of-the-art facility.
