HOUSE PRICES have fallen by a record 38% since their peak in 2006, a latest housing survey finds.

Irish homes are now being sold for prices not seen since 2002 says the report compiled by Permanent TSB and the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI).

Last year’s prices dropped by a sharp 10.8% overall.
