THE Greens expressed “concern” over the Taoiseach’s latest Anglo revelations last night — but do not intend to tackle him about them.

The party, which continues to provide Brian Cowen with a majority in the Dáil, repeated its criticism of the Taoiseach for not providing full details of his contacts with disgraced Anglo chief Sean FitzPatrick and other bank officials.

Uproar was caused in the Dáil when Mr Cowen revealed two other Anglo figures and a central bank official had been present for dinner when he played golf with FitzPatrick in July 2008 — facts he had omitted to include in a “substantive” statement on the meeting issued after Green pressure.
