Woman held in boxer death

GARDAÍ investigating a fatal assault on an 18-year-old kickboxer at Castle Road, Dundalk, Co Louth, two months ago have made a further arrest.

A female in her 30s was arrested yesterday in the Dundalk area and was detained locally under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.

It was the sixth arrest following the death of Niall Dorr. He died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a fight involving several youths.

No one has yet been charged in connection with the death.
