Cowen sorry for ‘digression from standard of care’

TAOISEACH Brian Cowen has apologised to four families whose loved ones received inhumane treatment at the hand of home care providers.

Mr Cowen said he regretted very much to hear of the incidents, which were revealed by RTÉ’s Prime Time Investigates programme.

“To each of those families, I’m sorry to see any digression from the standard of care that we are all entitled to expect,” he said.
