Man dies and woman critical following Dublin house fire

GARDA forensic experts are carrying out a technical examination of a house in Dublin following a fire which claimed the life of a man, 38, and left a woman, 42, critically injured.

Gardaí in the Bridewell started their investigation after they were informed of the fire by Dublin Fire Brigade.

The fire brigade were called to a house on North Circular Road shortly before 1.30am yesterday.
