Conmen pretend to work for HSE

THE HSE in the mid-west has issued a warning about con artists operating in the area and purporting to be HSE employees.

The thieves have been attempting to steal money, goods and personal information from homeowners and business people by pretending to be community welfare officers working for the health service.

In one incident, a shop owner unwittingly handed over a number of bicycles to a conman.
