TEAMS of detectives are investigating the personal relationships and drug-using backgrounds of two young cousins gunned down by a professional hit squad on Tuesday night.

Gardaí said they had still not uncovered any obvious possible motives for the “callous” double murder, which occurred at a filling station in Finglas, north Dublin, just before midnight.

Both men, Glen Murphy, 20, and Mark Noonan, 23, were from neighbouring local authority estates in Dublin’s north inner city.
