The Taoiseach of an unravelling Government collapsing under the weight of its own economic incompetence and inability to tell the truth delivered a 140 page drive-by attack on the poor and the vulnerable while attempting to pass it off as a blueprint to better days.

The whole event was aimed at the international money markets we are now reduced to prostrating ourselves before, and the ensuing hollow laughter could be heard from here to the City of London.
