In fact it is usually so secret that it’s difficult to discover if anything is happening. But behind the scenes is a hive of activity with tough negotiations.

We are already seeing a result of some of the negotiations that have taken place as much in public as in private with the EU apparently happy enough to agree that Ireland’s problem is it’s banks, and not its sovereign debt.
