Gardaí following ‘definite line of inquiry’ after fatal hit-and-run

GARDAÍ are following a definite line of inquiry into the death of a 20-year-old Wexford woman killed in a hit-and- run incident as she and her friend were leaving a local nightclub in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Kelly Gregan of Tara Hill, Inch, Gorey, had just left the O2 nightclub in Gorey town and, along with her friend, was crossing the road at a set of traffic lights when they were struck by the car at about 2.40am.

A large number of people had been leaving the club at the time and witnessed the incident.
