Safety award for hospital

THE Bon Secours Hospital in Cork has won the top safety award for the Medical Services Sector in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The award recognised the Cork hospital’s “superior performance” in the area of safety management practice.

The hospital’s fire, Health and safety officer, Kieran McNamara, accepted the prestigious award on behalf of all his colleagues at a special Gala Dinner which took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone.
