Design fest to harness creative energy

DUBLIN will play host to several internationally renowned designers this weekend as Offset, the country’s largest “creative conference”, takes place in the new Grand Canal Theatre.

Launched last year with the aim of bringing Ireland’s design community into contact with the world’ leading “creatives”, the event is run by designer Richard Seabrooke, artist and designer Peter O’Dwyer and illustrator Bren Byrne.

Mr Seabrooke said: “We have been working together putting on events for four years now from Dublin, London, Copenhagen, Berlin and NYC, but last year we took a big leap and started Offset.”
