Spotlight on music as opera fest hots up

TICKETS have gone on sale for the 50th Waterford International Festival of Light Opera, which features seven nights of competitive shows in November.

The festival runs from November 4 to 12 and will showcase productions from award-winning amateur musical societies at home and abroad in the recently refurbished theatre Royal in Waterford city.

The theatre’s box office has put tickets on sale for all of the shows, including Seussical the Musical by Bosco which opens the competition on November 4.
