Local woman and homemaker Catherine Keane was a popular winner of the best dressed lady competition, crowning it all with a hat designed by herself.
Wearing a Quinn and Donnelly red dress and coat, she caught the eye of celebrity judge Celia Holman Lee, who admitted to having an extremely difficult task in picking a winner from the large numbers of elegantly turned-out women.
