Sex offender to be extradited

A 57-YEAR-OLD convicted sex offender wanted in Scotland for allegedly failing to notify the authorities there of his whereabouts has consented to his extradition from Ireland to Britain.

Yesterday Fraser Benjamin McLaughlin, who had been in custody following his arrest at Dublin City Centre Hostel earlier this month, told the High Court in Dublin that he wished to return to Scotland “as soon as possible”.
