Armed gardaí patrol estate

ARMED gardaí have been patrolling a housing estate in Waterford city following the escalation of a feud that led to the stabbing of a man on Monday.

A 19-year-old youth was attacked at a house in Ardmore Park in the Ballybeg local authority housing estate at about 10.30pm. Three men were arrested.

Garda Sgt Larry Langton yesterday said that three men wearing balaclavas attacked the teenager in the living room of the house in Ardmore Park and slashed him with knives.
