Rape inquiry

LIMERICK gardaí have renewed their appeal for information into the rape of a woman in the city and believe a taxi driver may be able to help.

The woman was assaulted some time after midnight on August 12 in the Broad Street area.

Sgt Liam Sheehan appealed to the taxi driver, who picked the woman up on August 12 about 8.45am to 9am outside a cafe in Broad Street and drove her to Kileely, to contact them at Henry Street 061 212429.
