Locals feel left out as Croker battle looms

FOR Kerry GAA fans, despite the success of this year’s Rose of Tralee, the festival is still threatening to become a nightmare.

Between now and Tuesday night, more than 100,000 national and international tourists are set to descend on the town.

Over the course of the festival, an estimated €6m-€7 million is expected to flow into the local economy, with almost all hotel rooms booked out.
