Barnardos to benefit from press ball

CHILDREN’S charity Barnardos is set to benefit from the proceeds of this year’s Mid-West Press Ball which takes place next month.

More than €100,000 has been raised for charity since the biennial event was revived in the 1990s.

Meteor has been announced as the sponsor of the 2010 Meteor Mid-West Press Ball which will take place in the Limerick Strand Hotel on Saturday, September 25.
