THE bank balance of one lucky Cork shopper will look a lot healthier today as Wednesday’s €5.2 million winning Lotto ticket was bought in a supermarket in Togher.

The €8 QuickPick ticket was bought in Liam Ryan’s SuperValu in Togher and the advice from Lotto headquarters is to check your ticket as it could be you.

Speculation was rife in the busy supermarket yesterday morning as shoppers queued to see if they had been sold the winning ticket, or indeed, just to hear any gossip on just who the winner might be.
