‘Miracle mum’ wakes after five months spent in coma

A LIMERICK mother has been dubbed “miracle mum” by the US media after emerging from a five-month long coma after a horrific car crash.

Mother-of-three Nicole Graham Ryan, 27, who lived in Moyross and Meelick before emigrating to the US, was a passenger in a car when she was seriously injured in a motorway accident on February 8 last.

Since the accident she has been on life-support at the Meadowbrook Centre in Gardner, Kansas.
