Diners to go back in time for regal feast

FOOD lovers can look forward to a feast fit for a king after plans for the third annual Long Table Dinner banquet were launched in Tipperary yesterday.

Diners to go back in time for regal feast

Members of the Tipperary Food Producers group gathered at the Rock of Cashel — known as the seat of the Kings of Munster — to prepare for the event taking place in four locations across the county during National Heritage Week.

Hungry diners can expect a regal welcome as they are transported back 1,500 years for the traditional Long Table Dinner. In keeping with custom, only fresh seasonal food from Tipperary food producers will be served.
