Dan takes his seat as part of Project 366

FOR most people getting the chance to sit anywhere they like in Thomond Park Stadium is an exciting prospect, but for Limerick man Dan Mooney, that novelty may have waned slightly.

Just after 9am yesterday Dan, 26, set off to fulfil his dream of sitting in every one of the 15,600 seats at the Limerick stadium — task number 91 on his list of 366 things to do before his next birthday.

Five hours into his goal and every chair in the east stand sat in, Dan had just one word for the task so far — “excruciating”.
