LEGENDARY performer Bruce Forsyth has hit back at claims from pop mogul Louis Walsh that he should retire from show business as he “shouldn’t even be alive at his age” by describing the Westlife creator as “a jumped-up karaoke judge”.

In April, the X-Factor mentor jokingly claimed that the man who has entertained audiences for over half a century should retire because “he’s too old” and “shouldn’t even be alive at his age”.

The Co Mayo music manager made the comment after apparently being infuriated by Mr Forsyth’s insistence the talent contest was “embarrassing”, both for people seeking fame and those behind the show.
