Dangerous paedophile on the run

A DANGEROUS paedophile who poses a significant risk of re-offending is on the run in Ireland after absconding from Britain where he carried out a 30-year campaign of abuse.

Police in Lancashire say William John Paden, who police want to send back to prison, left an address in the seaside town of Blackpool.

Officers believe he travelled across the Irish Sea to the North.
