Calls for probe into possible Anglo share manipulation

A PROBE into possible share manipulation as Anglo Irish Bank slid into crisis was demanded last night after investigators into the financial slump appeared before a Dáil committee.

Klaus Regling and Max Watson drew the attention of Oireachtas members to a section of their hard-hitting report concerning events at the now nationalised Anglo.

They stated possible share manipulation at the bank may deserve specific consideration.
