A CANNABIS growing operation was smashed by gardaí in Dublin yesterday after they raided a house on the Blakestown Road.

Gardaí from the Blanchardstown Drug Unit seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €€450,000. Nine stun guns were also recovered.

A man in his 20s will appear before Dublin District Court today charged with drug trafficking.
