Car damaged by pipe bomb

A CAR was damaged in a pipe bomb attack in Derry last night.

It happened shortly before midnight in the Springtown Road area.

The rear window of the vehicle was smashed and a device thrown into it, causing an explosion. There are no reports of any injuries.
