Bank of Ireland to put majority of its art collection up for sale

BANK of Ireland has announced that it is to put the bulk of its prized art collection on the market.

The paintings, which when last valued were worth around €4 million, will be sold over the next five years. The collection includes work by Patrick Collins, Robert Ballagh and John Behan.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Bank of Ireland’s Community and Charity Investment Funds.
