Clarification: Mr Jerry Desmond
We have been asked to point out that Mr Jerry Desmond retired as Chief Executive of the ICC having reached the age of retirement and for no other reason.In relation to allegations made of false accounting (in respect of which the ODCE closed their file after an investigation), Mr Desmond denies any allegations of wrongdoing and has vowed to strenuously defend any action that may be taken against him.Issues relating to the dispute between Greenband and the ICC, in respect of which the High Court found that Jerry Desmond did advise the ICC of the agreement reached in relation to the sale of a laneway by the ICC, are entirely unrelated to the allegations of false accounting.We are happy to clarify the position.
