Aviva to increase family health insurance plan by €40

AVIVA is to increase its health insurance family plan by €40 per annum.

The company said the rise was due to the fact that the company could no longer absorb the increased cost of the health insurance levy.

“Other health insurers have already passed on the levy and, from May 19, Aviva will also pass on the full extent of the levy to consumers,” Vanessa Hartley, health marketing director for Aviva said.
