Call to seize bankers’ homes

THE homes and fortunes of bankers under investigation should be seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau, Pat Rabbitte demanded.

Labour’s spokesman on justice said new laws should be rushed through the Dáil if necessary in order to make an example of “treacherous” bankers.

Mr Rabbitte called for the property of those under investigation to be taken by the state as the “tardy” legal process against them continues.
