Protect rural Quinn jobs as well, urges group

THE discussions on the future of Quinn Insurance have not focused enough on securing the company’s rural jobs, Irish Rural Link has claimed.

IRL, the national network representing the interests of rural communities, said that the Quinn Group provides thousands of jobs in some of the most vulnerable and neglected parts of the country.

It said maintaining employment in Quinn Insurance and the wider Quinn Group must be key to any decisions made in the administration process.
