ANOTHER sharp fall in the number of foreign visitors to Ireland was recorded in the last quarter of 2009, while Irish people are also travelling abroad in declining numbers.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office show a 13% reduction in the number of overseas tourists to Ireland between October and December.
