More than 300 people crammed O’Donovan House in Little Island, Co Cork, yesterday to watch the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) oversee the auctioning off of three jeeps, two inflatable RIBs and a catamaran, which was ironically named The Lucky Day.

It was anything but lucky for the four-man gang who tried to bring €440 million of cocaine into Dunlough Bay, near the Mizen Head, West Cork on July 2, 2007.
