100 join Kinsale search for missing Polish woman

ALMOST 100 people joined searches yesterday for a young Polish woman who has been missing for five days.

Elzbieta Ewa Konik, 25, was last seen in Kinsale, Co Cork, just after 6pm last Wednesday when she finished work at a local butchers. She was reported missing by her employer the following morning when she failed to turn up for work.

She had been living in Kinsale for about two years and had a small circle of close friends.
