HOODED and clearly shaken, Oliver Hayes entered Kinsale courthouse last year to shouts of “you lousy bastard” and “scumbag”.

Hundreds of angry onlookers had gathered to vent their fury at the 50-year-old, yesterday found guilty of the murder of Ann Corcoran in January of last year.

Ms Corcoran’s body was found buried under a mound of earth in woods near Garrettstown, some 16 kilometres from her home in Kilbrittain, after a 10-day search involving hundreds of locals.
