Murder of Dublin criminal is blamed on local feud

THE murder of a hardened criminal in north Dublin at the weekend – the fifth killing so far this year – is being blamed on a local feud.

Noel Deans, 27, was shot twice in the head in a cul-de-sac while walking home to his girlfriend’s house from the pub.

Deans, while not a major gangland figure, had spent much of his teens in and out of prison.
