‘Abuse destroyed my life’

IT took almost a quarter of a century before one of Fr Thomas Naughton’s first known victims felt able to report the matter to gardaí.

Yesterday the man, now in his early 30s, slipped quietly into the back row of Court No 1 in Bray Courthouse to see the priest he holds responsible for destroying his life for the first time in 25 years.
